Hi, I have a request to allow a 'normal user' to disable or enable activity control of subclient. More specific a Oracle / SQL subclient when the database is down or in use for upgrades or tests.
How can I give them the rights without giving admin rights.
    Regards
    Gerard Val

    Hi Gerad

To Achieve what you want you will first need to a create a Role (https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/article?p=8177.htm), and then assign the associated Client permissions (https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/article?p=8298.htm) to the role, and then assign the role to the specific User.

It would be best to test and ensure the correct permissions are granted to align with your goal business need.

    Regards

    Winston
