Looking to see if anyone elese is experiencing any slowness with AuxCopy operations or high(er) latency on DDB's after applying SP16. Im seeing crazy latency on 1 media agent. The DDB is on an Intel P3700 SSD and Im seeing disk latency as high as 5ms on the DDB during backups. All other MA's are seeing slower than normal AuxCopy speeds.

    Hi Tom

If the issue with performance only popped up after upgrading to SP16 I would recommend you to engage support and have them review and determine whether the issue is due to a Service Pack issue or another deeper issue in the infrastructure.

What is the DDB version?  E.g. v10, Transactional, v5 (Garbage Collection)?

We found that the DDB was enormous and required compaction and also garbage collection was not on. Both fixed and Q&I time is back in the normal ranges.
