    Hi All,

I need some advice on what is the best method for me to backup a sharepoint application.

Our sharepoint application is split into 2, 1 application server & 1 sql DB server. Currently these 2 servers are backup using the normal file system & DB backup. However I just come to know that Commvault has actually a sharepoint agent which allows me to restore the files which were backed up. Currently we need to restore the whole SQL DB to another instance then point our sharepoint web to that new DB to retrieve the file.

Could someone actually advice how should I go about for sharepoint?
