we are taking backup of 130 systems.

clients and commserve is on premises and Media agnet is the cloud server.

In that backups are completing sucussfully for some systems and for most of the systems backup jobs are getting stuck at pst and after total running time they went to committed state.

We have check this issue from the network end.

this location has network link of 50 MBPS and previously there was latency and packet loss found from the client to MA and bandwidth assign for commvault backup was 5 mbps.

but later we have incresed the bandwidh to 20 mbps for commvault and also there is no latency or packet drops found but still the backups jobs are stuck at 70 % and not getting completed.

even we have disabled the backup scheduled for this group and manually run the backup only for 3-4 system after that also the backup was not completed it again wents to committed state. Also i have checked thebackup attempts and events for these jobs but there was nothing it is running contineoulsly without any attempts and still not getting complted.

we are facing this issue since more a month and unable to find out the way to resolve this please help me with the same.

Based on your troubleshooting so far, it is probably not a bandwidth / throughput issue that is causing the jobs to be stuck on PST files. You will want to review the logs to determine why the jobs are getting stuck but I suspect the most likely culprit is that these PST files are open files with file lock on them and Commvault may not be able to read that data.

What agent are you using for these backups? If it's File System agent, do you have VSS enabled?
