    Hi All,

If I was to set up a Microsoft cluster containing 2 XL media agents that have partitioned extended DDB's, present the iSCSI LUN's to both of the media agents in the cluster as cluster shared volumes, then share those out via a DFS namespace and configure that Library as "NAS path" storage, would that be a supported way to get HA and balance the workload across both media agents?

Of course it'd be better if we could just use NAS storage, but our storage doesn't support SMB/CIFS.

This would imply it is supported, but the references are few and far between...

    Hi Ewanwge

Sounds like a feasible solution and with the Active/Active connection even if one MediaAgent is unavailable it can still service the share to the Active MediaAgent.
