    Anyone else having issues getting to downloadcenter.commvault.com ? Trying to pull updates for hyperscale and its a dead on my end and cell phone

    No issue that I'm aware of, but the URL you should be using is actually: store.commvault.com.

    Download Center is now used more as an admin interface to manage Store, and should not be the main entry point for end users - that should be Store.

    Thanks,

    ROB ABATE

    Are you using the Commvault Bootstrapper to download Hyperscale updates which inturn is failing connection to downloadcenter.commvault.com . For the connection failure, is it the connection to downloadcenter.commvault.com altogether failing or failing to download a few files while others succeed ?

    I have a weekly scheduled job to download updates that has not been problematic.  Today that job failed with the error, "Failed to patch DVD root files.  Process: DownloadSoftware".

    I created an incident with support and my send logs job also failed.  I am thinking this may be a problem on the Commvault side.  At this time I am awaiting a status from support.

    As RobAbate mentioned above, the latter is expected as the customer entry point is store.commvault.com

    I recently logged a ticket with Commvault for bootstrap download failure for V11 SP16 HPK 17 and got confirmation that downloadcenter.commvault.com had a problem which was resolved through an escalation to Engineering. You need to log a ticket.

    Can you make sure if you are choosing the service pack manually for SP16 you are not choosing HF Pack 20?

    After reviewing my download job settings, I am running the download software job using the "Latest Hotfixed for Service Pack:  SP16".  The download is still failing.

    Can you post the downloadsoftware.log from the CommServe or open a ticket with Support?

    As previously stated, I already have a ticket open with support opened earlier today.  I opened as low priority since I have no plans to push updates this week.

    When I opened Maintenance Advantage to create that ticket I noticed this post so I was curious if the forum community had any news of a recent issue with downloads.  I will post when I get a status from suppport.

    In reviewing the DownloadSoftware log, it looks like the job is having an issue with CU20.  Does anyone know if there is there a known problem with CU20?

    I deleted the cache and was then able to download SP16 HFPK22 successfully.

    This has been resolved in my case.  It appears that CU20 was probably pulled sometime during my download.  HFPK 20 and 21 are no longer available for download.  Support engineer had me select a specific HFPK that was available and that download succeeded.   I would imagine clearing the cache and starting over would have worked as well, since that would have removed the partially downloaded CU20 in my case.

    Thanks all for the input!

    I worked with commvault to adjust this issue

    V11 SP17 HPK5

    Issue:

    ============

    Download Software fails

    Troubleshooting:

    ==========

    - Customer is trying to Download Software for Unix to prepare for the HS OS upgrade

    - Reviewed Logs and found we were failing to Sync due to 10.0 updates being in the cache

     - I added the following Additional Settings to correct this:

    Name: nSkipDownloadingOlderReleaseUpdates

    Category: UpdateFlags
    Type: INTEGER
    Value: 1

    Name: nAllowReducedUpdates
    Category: UpdateFlags
    Type: Integer
    Value: 1

    - We ran a new Download Software and this is currently running
