  • Move a vmware subclient from one backup set to a different backup set

    Hi all.

I need to move a vmware subclient from a backup set, to another backup set, because of structure changes in our vmware environment.

Backup set "name xxx"/Subclient "name xxx" needs to be moved to

Backup set "name zzz"/Subclient "name xxx".

Is this possible with a qcommand or something similar?

    Regards

    -Anders

I don't think this is as easy as a qcommand. I'd open a support incident and see what they can do for you.

Whilst not a move operation, you can use a qcommand to re-create most of the settings.  It does have some limitations though, for instance you cannot specify more than one VSA Proxy.
