    Commserve 11 SP17.13

We use in our domain dedicated admin users to login onto servers - accordingly we have configured SSO to Commserve with this admin users. Now we would like to change the automatically configured mailadresses for the admin-users to our standard users.

We already tried to change that in "Security - Domains and Organizations - Users" and "Security - CommCell Users", but there's no option to change it. When creating a new user in "Domains and organizations" there's also no option for that. Only creating a new user in "Commcell Users" lets me putting in a self-chosen email address.

So my question is how to change that mailadresses.

    Thank you very much,

Outside of cooking the database underneath ;), I don't believe this is possible. A feature very much worthy of a CMR though.

    Hi Markus..

One way that seems to work is to use a qoperation command along with the modify_user_template.xml which can be downloaded from here:

Edit the xml and add the user name into <userName></userName> section and the email address into the <email></email> section. Then simply execute "qoperation execute -af modify_user_template.xml"...  The username can be added to the qoperation command by using the -userEntity/userName switch but I can't figure out to do the same for the email address, but by defining statically in the .xml seems to work.
