I'm in the process of changing the access keys for mouny paths pointing to Azure containers.

In the dialog Edit Cloud Storage there is an option to make a Verify (atleast for Azure).

If I change the access key to use the new access key and do Verify it comes back with Success.
I save the change and go back and to another Verify and that comes back with failure.

As I see it both times the result should be a success. Anyone seen this behaviour?

Is there a timing thing in Commcell that could cause this that anyone know of?

Thinking about it, I guess the Verify use the key from the dialog so for it to work the access key needs to be entered all times.

    Hi Henke_H

After changing the Access Key are you still able to run Backups/Aux Copy to the Azure Storage?

As you have mentioned this could just be the way the verification works at the time of the input.

If the Backups/Aux Copy works then the credentials are stored correctly in the CSDB and the MediaAgent registry

Prior to making changes via the GUI, you can also use the Cloud Test Tool (https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/article?p=9232.htm), which is located in the /Base directory of the MediaAgent to test Cloud Storage connectivity.
