Other benefit of moving to HyperScale solution is the added benefit of scale-out capability. You can add more Nodes and capacity as the environment grows. This will allow you to plan accordingly
If you are looking into HyperScale Appliance (running on Fujitsu PRIMERGY RX2530 M4) it is an all-in-one solution where Commvault will support the end-to-end stack (Hardware, Commvault Suite and the OS). So if you encounter any hardware related issue, you will raise a support Incident and support will assist to diagnosis and engage the hardware Vendor to coordinate any potential hardware replacement.
Here are the current variation HyperScale Appliance Solution:
- HS1300 (Single Node)
- Deployment comes with default of 4 Disk per Node ranging with overall usable capacity of 29TB, 43TB, 58TB or 87TB across the entire Gluster
- HS3300 (2U Nodes)
