Im having a problem with Volume Shadow Copy on one server. The job goes in to a pending state because the shadow copy job fails.

There are 2 different Event ID 513 in the event log when this occurs. Im not positive these are two linked to the failed job but I think so:

The events are related to two different Symantec drivers:

Cryptographic Services failed while processing the OnIdentity() call in the System Writer Object.

    Details:
AddLegacyDriverFiles: Unable to back up image of binary EraserUtilRebootDrv.

    System Error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

Curious if anyone else has seen this?

Was Symantec installed and removed? It looks like it may not have cleaned up properly in the system protected files so the system writer thinks the file is still there, likely due to a registry entry.

You can try sfc /scannow to see if it cleans up anything. The OS is reporting the file exists, so this would be outside of anything CV can do for it.
