imagine you have two locations and you want to place backup copies in both of them.

I see I can setup two Media Agents below one common CommCell and create backup copies between them, optimally in a deduplicated form.

What about two independent CommCells in each location - can their Media Agents exchange backup copies mutually? (I guess not, just to confirm..)

We have a test lab "air gapped" and would like to do something similar.  Replicate the deduplicated backup data disk volumes on a given day, run a DR backup, then revive a clone commserver inside the lab to restore whatever is needed (for DR tests etc), that clone needs to remain unaware of the real world so that it doesn't confuse real-world media agents etc.

Michal, are you wanting to do something like Commserve Failover / LiveSync? We just configured that. We now have a clone of our primary commserver that's always within 15 minutes current. You need to find the latest (SP18) instructions to set it up correctly.
