    Found that in the clBackup log:

    CCVAPipelayer::InitializeBackupPipeline() - Sent Command PL_INIT_SIGNATURE to MediaAgent [Client name - shfilmri001] [SIDBStoreId - 75] [isClientSideDedupEnabled - yes] [CacheDBSize - 0 MB] [Cache-buffer-size - 4096 KB][Compress-enabled - Yes] [latencyOptimizeEnabled - No]

    CCVAPipelayer::SendCommandToDSBackup() - Sent Command 319 to MediaAgent, Waiting for Response...

    SdtSignature::ComputeAndAddSignature : Getting PL_INIT_SIGNATURE Message[Ver-1][ComputerName - shfilmri001][SIDBStoreId - 75][isClientSideDedupEnabled - yes] [CacheDBSize - 0 MB] [Cache-buffer-size - 4096 KB] [EnabledOptimzedForLatency - No]

    What is that? Can i change that?

    Hi A1_Expert

    It looks like the Client/Subclient is configured with Client-Side Deduplication.

    The purpose of using Client-Side Deduplication is so the signatures processed on the client is stored in this cache to enable local lookups for subsequent backups

    This will be helpful in minimizing network utilization fo delayed or low bandwidth network environment such as WAN
