We deleted some old backups that were no longer needed. This was done in the commcell console: Policies--->Storage Policies--->Right-Click Job Copy--->Select Clients--->Find job to delete

When I go to Libraries--->Cloud Library I can see the size on disk (249TB) has been reduced. When I check the blob storage on azure, it still shows over 300TB of data. Data aging jobs have run and Micro Pruning is enabled on the cloud library. Any ideas on this? Also have a ticket opened with support but wanted to check here as well.

    Hi Commvault_Rav

Are there any logging mechanism on the Microsoft Azure to confirm that it has received any type of deletion request from the MediaAgent?

For physical prune to work for a Cloud Library, the MediaAgent should be sending the get/delete request to the BLOB.

Commvault should only reflect the capacity of what is utilized from the BLOB.

    Regards

    Winston
