    hi,

For the DDB , SSD disks are required.Good, understandably.
But what is most important for commvault:   write cache or read cache on those disks?
That's something what can be configured. For example 50% read - 50% write cache. But what is advised for the DDB disks? More read, or more write cache?

    Hi Bart

There aren't any specific requirement when setting up SSD Cache.

The general operations engaging the DDB will involve writes (for new block references and updating existing references) and reads (required for Synthetic Full and pruning to determine where it needs to read)

Setting 50% for Read and Write should be sufficient as the general IOPS of SSD should be suffice to handle the remaining load.
