    Hi,

    I have a server which acts as a VSA proxy for 2 different Commserves. I have an instance installed for each which has historically worked without an issues. I came across and issue today after a reboot where one of the instances as this error in the cvfwd log:

    1264 0524 09/11 12:07:40 ######## ######## Trying to bind to tunnel ports again
    1264 0524 09/11 12:07:40 ######## ######## ERROR: cvfwd_process_tunnel_ports(): IPv4 port 8603 is in use. Will retry in 60 seconds.

    This is causing backups jobs on the associated instance to fail. Both instances are using the same port and although I understand that this could cause issues, I don't understand why it has only started happening now.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Only one process can bind to a port at a time. If both setups are set for 8603, change one of the firewall tunnel ports and you should be good to go. It's not supported to have both running on 8603.
