    Hi All,

Recently we have done failover of CS from PR(CSPR1) to DR  Commserver(CSDR1) and what we observed that all MA and clients are still pointing to PR (CDPR1) commserver instead of DR Commserver(CSDR1). We are on V11 SP19.

Do we have to do name change operation for all the MA and Clients where they wil connect to DR (CS DR1) ?

How can we automate this name change operation wherein whenever failover or failback happens all clients and MA  will get connect to only active CS node ?

Kindly share your valuable comments please.

    Regards,

    CVLT

CS live synch relies on commvault firewall tunnels for clients to reach CS pre/post failovers

Below are the 3 types of network configurations avaialbe while running live synch wizard, please go through it.
