Issue - restoring Exchange information store (800 GB).  The restore will start to process data and several hours into the restore it will generate the above error message and the restore will fail.  I have run several other restores of smaller information stores w/ 100% success.  This seems to only happen on larger stores.

    Ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hello Okhuntin,

"Unable to allocate pipline" error typically means that there was a network drop during the restore. You may not notice it on smaller restores as your exposure to interupts is shorter as opposed to the larger restores.

Most probable reason could be a network error happening during data transfer. Do you have some sort of a firewall between client and mediaagent. Without logs it is difficult to analyze further.

    Thank you

    Rajiv
