Is there any way to push out the Mac OS X File System iDA from the CommServe without explicitly enabling the "root" account on all Mac OS X machines?  I have a customer considering pushing out the Mac OS X agent to about 600 Mac laptops, which of course don't have the root account enabled by default.  It would not be realistic to explain to 600 end users how to enable the root account.  I tested a push intstall onto my Mac laptop (with SSH enabled) but it failed, presumably because Mac OS X doesn't have the root account enabled by default.  I just wanted to verify that there is no other "work-around" for pushing iDA's from the CommServe to Mac OS X computers.  My last resort will be creating a custom install package, but it would be nicer to be able to push right from the CommServe.

The root account is needed for a push install.  Unfortunately there is no way around it.
